Default another craigslist LOL.

1983 Jaguar XJS

I am selling my rare 1983 Jaguar XJS Hess Engleheart Edition. It is has a 400hp V12 with a 400 turbo transmission and it runs great! Amazingly, even with all that power, the car still averages 20-22 mpg. It is dark green with tan interior. The car has 109,000 miles and has had a lot of work done to it very recently. The list includes:

New Pirelli Tires, Dual K&N cold air intakes, Dual Magnaflow Exhaust and Headers, New brakes, rotors and calipers, New radiator, New water pump, New battery, New fan, and all new belts. I can provide some receipts for the work done. I didn't keep all of them because I wasn't thinking of selling it.

The car has a rebuilt transmission with less than 20k. Included with the car is an extra trunk deck lid with spoiler that I was going to put on.

This car was the top of the line sports car in its day. I enjoy driving it and get questions and compliments every where I go. It is not perfect, but not far from being completely finished. It could use repainted and some interior work. However this car needs nothing to be driven now and I have been driving it regularly on every sunny day we have had this spring. The only reason I am considering selling it is to get a four door XJ6 so I can enjoy driving a Jaguar and take my family too.

The car's current book value in its condition is $9000. I am asking $6000. I would also consider trading for a 1990-1998 Jaguar XJ6 in great condition. I am not interested in other trades, so please no other trade offers. Serious inquiries only. If the car is still posted, it is still available. No joy rides. Cash is king. The pictures were taken today (4/7) so what you see is what you get. Finally, I feel I have to add this for the "tire kickers", I don't need to sell it, so please no low ball offers.

I do not check my email often so please call if you want to schedule a time to come look at it. My name is Jon and number is 740-978-eight,one,one,four. Thanks a lot for your time!

I think he's got it wrong. He doesn't have the H.E. version, but the E.H. version (Extra Horsepower).

But good part is where we should not bother him, because he does not have to sell it!

Check compression, while you are fiddling around in the V.
