Default Can you see what it is yet ?

In the best Rolf Harris tradition......... cue the diggery, dijari, diggidari, oh the funny hollow stick you blow into music.....

These are thermal image pictures of the XJS running. Some quite interesting things to be seen...... firstly the fuel rails are nice and cool, and this is a car that doesn't have the fuel cooler. Also my electronics seem to be quite cool, ie dizzy and ignition amps above the radiator. My A/C compressor seems to generate a lot of heat, and it's pretty obvious which ones are the coolant lines, especially in the pic across the top of the radiator.

I'm sure at some point I will find an actual use for this, but in the mean time it's a lot of fun :-)

Google "Seek Thermal"

It's a tiny camera that connects to your smartphone. These things used to be $5k but there's been a breakthrough in the detector technology which means they are now much more affordable. This one was $249.

I actually bought it to help while I was checking wiring in the house. Pretty amazing little thing. You can take pictures on your phone or even do videos

A picture speaks a thousand words.

Very good, and thank you for that.
