Default Check Engine Light Code P0315 & PO316

My check engine light is on, and I did a diagnostic test and it came back P0315 and P0316. I just finish a change of spark plugs and seal, the Check engine still on. I am now considering looking at the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS) to further pursue this issue. Do anyone have a diagram of the location, possible how to adjust or replace it.. I was told that it is to the front of my 96 XJS. Thanks

I see a lot of folks have stopped by but haven't been able to help. I would like to help but I am going to need some more info.I am assuming that you have a 1975 to 1996 XJS since you posted here. It would be most helpful if I new the Year, Model and the Engine size then I can give you the correct information. The XJS was built over a 21 year span with 4 different engine sizes.
At the very top of the page if you go to USER CP you can add that info to your signature and it will always show up.
Post the needed info and we can help you out.

avern1, and thanks for the info on updating "User CP" it should show up now. and thanks for your support with my P0 codes, things have changed since my original post. I decided to change my spark plugs, and found oil on one or more plugs, I replaced all the boss seals, ignition coils, spark plugs, and valve cover gasket. The codes are gone. But the check engine light is still on. A friend connected to his tester now it indicates it "injector misfire". He said that he does hear a slight "mis". I am going to removing the rail and cleaning that area..
