Cold Start Issue
I think "rebuild" kit means all the rubber and soft bits. Still may not get ya to freeing up the gunk, debris and just plain ol stuck-ness on the INSIDE of the injectors... It's the insides that need some love, I'm guessing
The rebuild kit includes (at least should include) the tiny basket filters that go into the top of the injectors. If these are gunked up, which they probably are, then replacing them will make a huge difference.
have a trigger board coming in a few days, the kit has everything except the seller said the 4 red bushings that mount it are missing, any idea as to where i can get those little bushings that go on the board ????
Oh dear.
I made some for one of mine a very long time ago.
Memory is not behaving at the moment, so when it kicks in, I will edit this post with how I did it.
Same for the Nylon screws, I used something else?????
I have notes in the shed somewhere, but 41c in that tin box, not happening.
Have a stooge around SNG, they have some oddball stuff.
What I remember.
Those rubber things were never easy to find, even back 30 years ago when parts were plentiful.
I used "fine thread" screws (part f my huge hoard of stuff over 55 years), and they threaded into the distributor perfectly.
A brass tube over said screw to set the board height, so fiddle an fart with length.
Fibre washer under the board, fibre washer on the top side (under the head of the screw).
That is the basics of 3 of mine. NOT rocket science, but fiddly as hell. About 6 beers should see it done.
One of mine done like that is now at 655000kms, and never missed a beat.
