Default copy rubber bush

thought I would change my throttle linkage bushes as they had a bit of play.
looked them up at SNG web site and saw the did their own brand cheaper,
being as I thought jaguar were over priced and barratts can be trusted i purchased them fitted them and they were soooo loose they were like not have a bush in at all. sent them back with a accompanying letter saying I didn't know how they had the cheek to sell parts that don't fit, and a refund, and repurchased the jaguar ones and although they tuned with the rod rotating, they fitted well, bit of superglue around the edge and they fit great. morel, you cant trust anyone,

You can just buy bronze top hat bushes at a hardware store. Even the well known "Oops" box from an autostore with an assortment has very well fitting bronze bushings. I wouldn't even bother with the rubber ones anymore.

I’ve used the SNG Barratt repro, which is a hard plastic, and they were fine. I wonder what they sent you!

They were soft rubber, the jaguar ones were hard and needed boiling water to soften them
