Default Crank position sensor

Ive replaced mine twice still nostart. Mechanic claims they are getting a p0335 code and wanted to replace the cps with a $500 oem cps . What aftermarket cps have folks had good lick with? The ones i bought were cheap ebay china ones. Thanks

Jeff,

I wouldn't be changing any more parts at this stage. I would look at the electrical diagram and backprobe all the input and output signals on the ecu plug to establish whether the problem is one of the input signal conditions, or one of the output signals.

That’s what I’m planing to do starting with fuses 7 and 14 as suggested. Id love some additional instruction on back probing the ecu. I’m not that experienced with electrical

I've successfully used Walker and A-Premium from Amazon. Both under $30 at the time.

I recently used the cheapest CPS's I found in eBay - I think they were £26 each or similar, and they work fine.

Yes there are some realy cheap ones but im buying a different brand thistime thats a little more money. If this doesnt work i may try it in my working 97 xj6. Ive just been hesitant about disabling another car
