As much as I like Big Coupe, it is mostly the Euro or UK community. Good info that passes between those guys though. Bimmerforums.com have mostly US based fellas so more easy to provide parts and local information.
Your choice of course or join both.

 

Haha I went for it today! F@$k that mount and the pits of hell it came from! No way to get a blade in there so went nuts with a couple drill bits. Now just need to get a new pan to stop this leaking mess. I don’t know if the whole trans was replaced or just the pan but this pan is old a heck and beat to hell
