Hi, can someone give me advice which springs to buy.
eibach uprated (25mm) from sngbarratt or kingsprings lowered KJFS-01 and KJRL-03 (30mm) from ebay. I myself from Europe.
1) is eibach uprated stiffer then kingsprings or not ? why have expirience with it ?
2) have the eibach uprated springs code (part nummer) for jaguar xjs ? because on official site in catalog, i didn't find any springs for jaguar xjs.
3) is it true, that kings front springs KJFS-01 for jaguar xjs is lowered, but for xj6 KJFS-01 is standard height ?
4) my front original springs have 6 rings and height 30-31cm, I found one picture on ebay with eibach front springs it has 5 and half rings height ??cm, and in internet picture of kingsprings, it has 6 and half rings ??cm.
5) on rear, I will use Gaz shock Adjustable Coilover Dampers. but I can't decide use it with standard factory springs or better with lowered springs.

 

It depends if you want the original factory ride characteristics, or if you wish to have a harder ride. It would be worth contacting XJ Restorations and asking them, as they are the most experienced people with this sort of spring lowering thing:

These are just the same as the original ones and very good quality.

 

You may want to contact Simply Performance as they have a complete suspension upgrade kit using Eibach springs and Gaz shocks. I am in the process of installing them in my '92 convertible.
