I can not find a diagram that shows my 94 xjs exhaust as it was stock. I bought the car with an aftermarket cat on it. It is the kind of cat that splits into a y. The cat on the car is way too small so I purchased the CA compliant cat that is the only allowable cat for my vehicle Magnaflow 38104. I need to install it to pass smog, which is needed to complete registration, which is needed for my incomplete reg fix it ticket...

I purchase a welder and have been able to get some decent welds (in strength that is) now Im trying to figure out how to go from the magnaflow 2" cat pipe to the two muffler pipes. I purchased a magnaflow y adapter but it is way too large for the area, even if I move the cat back as far as it can go (to the edge of the heat shield). I know this should be simple but I am stumped as to how to get it fit in there without having to go with an expensive custom y connector.

If anyone has a photo of there 4.0 xjs exhaust or mid cat area, it would be appreciated. seeing ho Jaguar originally had it set up would be helpful.
