Hi all, I'm replacing the exhaust sealing rings on my 5.3 downpipes. The replacement rings are a little loose on the pipe where the old ones were a snug fit. Question is , is this a problem?

The problem is that OEM rings are no longer available - seems crazy as every classic Jaguar uses the same ones. Aftermarket ones are not as good, but do work, just about. The thing with them is you will find you have to retighten them for the first few months every now and then. If you can find NoS OEM ones on Ebay, get them instead.
