exotic xjs mods?
Evening, I was just wondering if anyone has heard or seen any super exotic xjs mods. I've heard rumor of a twin supercharged v12 xjs. Also i've heard of a company called Keisler Engineering that does or has once offered a dual throttle body setup (2 per side for a total of 4 ). I have been unsuccessful finding any pictures or further information on either of these. Anybody have anything? Pics or info would be appreciated. Just curious as to how either of these work and what they look like. Sounds neat.

The twin supercharger car you're probably thinking of was built by a guy named Brad...Brad...Brad something or another a few years ago. He was a regular on Jag-lovers but passed away 2-3 years ago. The car has come up on Ebay a couple times. A real monster, and beautifully engineered.
The 4 throttle body set-up actually comes from AJ6 Engineering in the UK. They have a slew of Jag performance goodies. As far as I know Keisler is the USA distributor of AJ6 products.
I had an AJ6 ECU in my XJs...worked exactly as advertised. I've never heard anything negative about AJ6 merchandise. It's a little pricey, though....low demand, low volume stuff.

Here is the Twin S V12.... http://www.lyonstales.com/archive/0704/page_5.php
There's no exterior pictures but I remember seeing it also on Ebay and apart from a few extra bulges here and there on the hood, and lowered suspension, it looked relatively stock.
I read a magazine article about it and apparently the engineering on it was amazing (as Doug said) and the car drove very well even at very high speed. Hope it's still out there and someone is taking good care of it

I'm pretty sure this is the same car. A real beast.

coorections ( I think)
A6 mods are handled by Driven Man (www.drivenman.com). The four throttle body intakes are not by A6, A6's are basically a stock design with lenghtened tubes and enlarged throttle body opening. I have found one reference to the quad opening manifolds but have gotten no responses from Keisler.
