Default Fresh paint!

Just got my car back from paint last week - bare metal respray, spent the weekend putting it back together. Also spent a lot of time over the winter redying the seats with Leatherique. Hope they stay looking this nice. I pulled the seatbacks out of my parts car and dyed them too for some extra leather, and used it to do my console. Never much cared for the black chunk. Next I plan on doing the wood around the switches, too, since they're brittle and held on with super glue. Also removed and filled the bodyside strips and original name badges. I just thought they were cheap looking.

Very nice inside out. May I ask how much is the paint job? My red XJS needs a new coat of paint too.

Looks superb inside and out.

When you get that brake pedal rubber cleaned it'll be perfect!

Cost me 3K but that was having a buddy do it. I also had him pull the windows so I could put new gaskets in. A scuff and shoot might be cheaper but my paint was badly crazed and had to go down to bare metal on the entire car.

Very nice. I'll be filling in the side moulding holes as well...

Looks fantastic! Well done.

I had my wood recently redone by British Autowood. They have been running an XJ-S special lately. Very good job and quick turnaround time. I'll be posting pics next week.

Cheers,

- Will

I actually enjoy woodworking as much as cars, so no plans on using one of the aftermarket companies. The only reason I haven't redone mine yet is I haven't decided what I want to do...I'm leaning towards waterfall bubinga....
