Default Fuel pressure regulator delete, pros & cons

Whilst trying to figure out a hot stall (now sorted , lame CPS) i read here and there parts about removing the inbound FPR but no ''full information''

lt seems that the motor runs just fine using the outbound FPR so is there any downside at all to deleting the inbound FPR?

NO,

The Inbound has no pressure control of the rail, it is deemed a "pulse damper" as best I could find out back in the early '90's.

All my HE engines have the Inbound removed, and YES smother running on some has been a plus.

The 6ltr only has an outbound, and yes, a very different set up.

Had a CRAFT moment.

The A Bank and B Bank FPR are NOT, repeat NOT interchangeable.

I ditched the A Bank FPR's in the trash, so as I got older, there now, I would not get too confused.

by inbound I take it you mean the fuel supply side ? So you remove the fpr on the supply side of the rail ?

YES.

Also know as the A Bank regulator, but some people have A and B concerns sometimes, maybe its an Aussie thing, dunno.

Have a read, should clear the mud a tad.
