Gas Leak

Gas Leak
Long story short: pulled the car out of the garage and left it idling for a few minutes while I cleaned the windshield. Pulled a few feet back, saw a puddle of fluid under where the engine bay had been. Put car in park, walked over, sniffed puddle, gasoline!
Looked under the still idling car and saw fluid dripping between the cats. Shut the car off and pushed it back in the garage.
Any ideas where to start looking for the leak?
Cheers,
- Will

It should be leaking whether the engine is running or not, if the fuel pump is running. The pump will run for about 3 seconds when the ignition is turned on, but NOT the starter. So turn the ignition on for 5 seconds or so, then off, and so on for a few times. This should pressurise the system.
The fuel enters the engine compartment on the US passenger side in a metal pipe and joins a flexible. Remove the air filter cover and it is easy to see. Trace the pipes to the pressure regulator and the fuel rail until your finger gets wet!
Same the other side only backwards. It just could be that the metal pipe from the tank has a leak, which means being under the car to look, but more likely to be one of the joins or a flexible.

Great technique.
Leak is at one of the injector feeds.
Bought 6' of 5/16" high pressure fuel hose today and will replace all the injector hoses tomorrow. Also have a spare injector harness I bought from Ian a few months back, and purchased new injector seal kits as well, so looks like I have a nice Sunday project ready.

About half way through on my lunch break.
Got the rail off and finished with one bank of injectors. Some well intentioned but careless mechanic replaced the fuel lines at a previous point, and badly marred the barbs in the process. Dressing them up with a micro die grinder as I go.
Can't figure out how to get the upper injector seal off. I've been leaving them on, figuring it's the lower seal that actually does the job and the upper seal is just holding them in place...
