Default Gauge cluster lights

So I bought T10/194 bulbs at the store to see if they'd work, they do not, there is power to the cluster as the last remaining original bulb does light up only slightly and responds to the rheostat dial.

Almost identical to this: https://www.topbulb.com/194-auto-bul...ent-wedge-base

Every reference I saw says these sort of bulbs should work - they fit and look similar to the UK branded originals. I'm trying to avoid spending $20/cad for LEDs

They look the right bulbs. I would start by putting auxiliary power into the cluster on the bench, plus an earth, and get the cluster working first. The attached may help with this task.

God bless the Forum. Another invaluable document!

My cluster has power I hard wired the lights from the rheostat which activated my new bulbs somewhat...will know tomorrow at 6am if they work worth a damn. I've already cleaned the printed circut paper not sure if or why there would be a failure there?

Full power supply should work...
