bad news - the engine was USD200k.

This makes me want to redesign the intake manifolds. I can't find anyone that'll hone/extrude them anymore because anyone with the skill has retired.

By the look of the engine it is a V12 made from two AJ6 engines' heads, which have been suitably modified. This is a pretty reliable way to get big N/A power from a v12 block

Yes AJ6 heads, motec ECU and 7.4L. This car has done a few miles and been seriously used.

I saw the car at a Jaguar event a few years ago. Was talking to the owner, this is one serious replica.

They measured the original and made a timber buck. Then the body was hand made from aluminium.

i'm betting also expensive after all said and finished, they dont just bolt in place , many small but needed modifications!
