Hi Folks. Decided to do an engine /trans out on my 1990 convertible - mostly to perform cosmetic work on the engine and engine bay (including all new fuel lines and hoses - and track down a few electrical gremlins), but am looking at an engine refresh while it is out. I can source gaskets, seals, crank and rod bearings, but am having trouble finding a source for standard piston rings. Low mileage engine, but it has been sitting for a while. Cylinder cross-hatching still visible, but want to refresh while I'm this far in - virgin engine. Any leads?

On an engine where you are doing a refresh rather than a full rebuild I would not use the total seal style. I've seen too many failures after using those.
