Default Headlamp with High / Low beam 2 Filaments

I have modified the headlamp wiring to have all four head lamps on at the same time in low and high beam. I have low beam lamps with 2 filaments, now I need a lamp that has a high and low beam elements that fit the 5 3/4" Di opening I have located lamps with 7" Di opening with the two filaments but too large for the 5 3/4" factory opening . Any Ideas?

I'm assuming you are asking for sealed beam suggestions?

You couldn’t buy a new pair of (dual filament) outboard lamps and install them in the inboard position?

Will the outboard lamps not fit the inboard buckets?

Just wondering

Cheers

The buckets are identical. My suggestion is to buy new 2 light units that will take H4 bulbs.

Globes.... How strange that Australia changed the word bulb to globe. It is funny how different English speaking countries changed some words.

Although they look the same, the metal rings that the light sits on are different. You will need to buy 2 of the high beam rings. The lights have indentations that only fit the correct ring.

Malc
I have USA-sourced quad headlight chassis units from a pre-facelift, that came with USA spec glow-worm sealed beams. These I swapped for EU spec light units that take H4s and H1s (the light units being identical from the fixing indent point of view, apart from the type of bulb-holder in them and their glass beam patterns) and they fit the units no bother. Facelifts might be different, of course.

I know this is a personal preference question. Which glass headlight lens would put in your car? Crystal Clear lens or a more original lens face look with the Wagner glass lens?
