Default How to open the boot without a key

Ive retrieved my car from this shop thats had the car for 6 months. Car is completely locked. No keys in site.

And of course the spars I had made years ago dont work.

How does one open the boot without keys?

Scott,

Have a look on the parts diagram on the Jaguar website and you'll see that a rod connects the boot lock to the boot latch. A carefully drilled small hole just off centre behind the number plate and you should then be able to use a bit of wire to pull the rod and activate the boot latch.

Good luck

Paul

I used a hole saw and then inserted as grommet, you can see the screw inside this is the rod that opens the boot.
