Default Identifying front calipers

The previous owner of my ‘88 XJS installed vented rotors in the rear which necessitated the use of aluminum spacers between the 2 caliper halves. I’m now restoring the front suspension and am wondering if the front calipers have been modified too as they appear to have similar spacers between the 2 halves. Also, the rotors look thicker than others I’ve seen on this forum. Thoughts?

Mine don't have that spacer in the caliper. They also don't have that hub spacer. The disk has the hub offset instead of it being a separate part. You've definitely got some non-standard parts.

If I remove the spacer, I don't believe the wheel will fit over the hub. The wheels are 17x8 Daytons. The spacers are only on the front.

What I meant is that my disks have a hat. I think yours have a spacer instead of that.
Here’s my setup.

Got it. So essentially if I go back to stock the spacer will no longer be needed. Thanks for the picture.
