OK,
On the rear of the LH cylinder head is an AAV unit. Cold start extra air valve, and on the side of that AAV is a 13mm hex head "bolt looking thing".
This 13mm "bolt" is the HOT idle adjustment. Turn it IN for slower, and OUT for higher HOT idle.
It has NOTHING to do with cold idle, that is controlled by internal cutouts on the AAV piston.
If your idle is slow at COLD, then the AAV is jammed, rather normal in V12 land.
If your idle is slow at HOT, then screw it out "1 flat" at a time until the desired speed is obtained.
ALSO:
On the 5.3 engines, yours will be no different, the throttle discs, inside the throttle bodies get gummed up with "black goo", and a systematic wipe clean at each oil change time keeps that stuff at bay. The idle of the V12 is rubbish when this stuff build up and prevents the bleed air passage doing what it does.
The parts drawing here shows that AAV as #6.
