I have an XJ but I wouldn't buy those ones. They are just too big. Too high, too wide...
People seem to like them, though the sales figures are disappointing and Jaguar is even thinking of dropping the XJ from their range... Instead a J-Pace is supposed to be launched.
i can tell you are from a different country and place in the world!
the cars ,XJL beside an XF-s, has no comparsion in Elegance ,rich feeling, ambiance , and most important inside ROOM ,comfort, richness, all heated/cooled/rear massage seats!
Leather and wood in the right places, and many i cant think of at this time, but over the top, so quiet you have to look at gages to know its running, be it 10 mph or 100mph.
in all fairness tho, i'm much older than you, so my needs have changed, i dont need 500 supercharged HP, etc.
if i was 40yrs younger, i'd chose a sport car , probably not a Jaguar!
and i dont really care for the F types, not any that i have seen or examined, they just dont do it for me!
Ron, I love the comfort of an elegant XJ. Just that new styling of an extremely traditional car isn't mine. The engine is puuuuuurrfect though 550 hp supercharged AJV8 glory
Nice looking car! Congrats. These cars are really starting to grow on me, and by the time they depreciate to my level, I'll be ready for one! I will admit that I really like the previous generations of all older Jag models, but i plan to work my up through the evolutionary chain. Enjoy!
It's the current trend in high waistlines that turns me off almost all current cars.
Drivers are just a head in the window. Like an old man with his pants up to his armpits. I know that it's safer. I don't care.
Every modern sedan produced currently that I'm aware of suffers this thick styling. I just can't like it. "New" versions of great sixties designs are the worst in my opinion.
This Jag isn't extreme in its waist, but imagine it with some curve to the side line and more glass.
