Default Members Help list

I'm planning on driving my newly finished XJS from Baltimore to Seattle starting on the 20th. I was wondering if there was a list of members willing to lend a hand in case of a breakdown. We have one in the 928 club.

Regards

I'll be first. Youll likely be within a few minutes of me anyway....

I'd offer, but I doubt you'll be going by way of northern Alabama!

Are you also on the W140 Mercedes list and live part year in Uganda?

I was thinking Baltimore to St Loiuis for day 1.
Then St Loius to Denver for day 2
Denver to Boise for day 3
Boise to Seattle for day 4

Jon,

Yep. That's me. How did you figure?

I'm consolidating my toys with 4 wheels in Seattle. So I'm driving the Jag this month.
My engine is finished and installed in the 928, so that comes across in October
The TVR engine gets rebuilt in October, so if the weather holds, then I'll drive that across in November
The S600 will be shipped from Uganda sometime in 2021.

Uganda is still locked down, and the airports and shipping companies are closed. I managed to escape last month. Wound my way from Sudan to Ethiopia to Paris, Amsterdam, Detroit, Chicago to Seattle. President says the country will open when the rest of the world solves the pandemic.

Cheers

I thought so! It was the mention of 928 plus XJS here and older posts that gave it away.
Glad you were able to escape. Sounds like a dangerous journey.

Sounds like you'll miss me in Iowa.
