I haven't received a single inquiry, and I can't say that I'm surprised. These are cars that are more fun to read about than to own. The best strategy is to buy the best car that you can, the seller will usually have more invested in the car than they will recover. I am in the middle of a lot of different things, so I just haven't concentrated on the car. It's all safe and sound in my garage and I drive it forty or fifty miles every month. I'm also planning on listing my '96 XJ6L in the next week or so. After that my '51 Mark VII will be listed. I'm planning on just keeping one Jag, It all depends on which, if any sells.
I've decided to hold onto the XJS, Things will be slowing down for me eventually and it's safe in the garage. It did surprise me that I didn't even get one inquiry. It's still a great car.
After my success with the XJ6 I'm getting fired up again. Motivation is a big part of eventual. success. I'm even mulling over things with the Mark VII.
Plans have changed and I'm moving on. I'll still be visiting this site as there is a lot of interesting info and helpful members. Best of luck to all on their projects.
I've titled this photo as "The end of the Affair." That says it all. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
