Blocked or not properly opening injectors. But what have you done, if anything, to renew the ignition and HT system and clean pout the fuel system and clean the injectors?

Try a flash-stall test on the gearbox. In drive, foot on brake HARD, blast throttle for a second and see what the rev counter does. If it does NOT flash to 2600rpm or so, then gearbox is the problem. I just learned about this the hard way on a mate's car!

Sounds like you're running out of spark. Have you tested the second coil?

The A bank temperature difference is probably not related. I'd confirm all your injectors are actually activating. You can pull the whole rail up and support it connect onae at a time. Twist the throttles open quickly and confirm the connected injector fires. Slide a clear hose over the nozzle into a catch can.

Fire potential is high so extinguisher and a helper would be wise.

If that was the longish thingy with a multiplug in the end, it is the resistor pack, and if the plug is dirty or corroded, it can stop the injectors opening. Good find.

Does it have Marelli ignition, or Lucas? Because this sounds like classic "Marelli meltdown" failure, where one bank of ignition fails.
