Not for the faint of heart!
I don't know if this has been posted before but how aboout some pictures of some of the mods you have done to your cars? I am still finishing up a couple of interior mods that should be done by the end of the week. When they are done I'll post pictures for you all to hopefully enjoy or not. Either way I don't offend easily so comments are welcome.

Hopefully I just posted a picture! In this shot you will see that my trip computer is gone and replaced by a narrow band air/fuel gauge. In addition my wood was in horrible shape so I sanded it smooth and re-veneered it with 3M di-noc vinyl clear coated with 3 coats of clear. Most of the wood has been done this way and it looks great! Very easy to do as well. More pictures to follow.....

I like it. Your wood looks pretty good too. Could you maybe paint the 2 rivets (?) on either side of the gauge also flat black ? They kind of distract your eyes a bit.
Unfortunately because I have a dodgy fuel gauge I rely on my trip computer to prevent me from running out of gas. I have fitted aftermarket gauges (fuel pressure and oil temp) to my car and I was thinking about putting them where the trip computer was....... might try a change one day.
I see you have the updated 2 way center vent mod done....... that was one of the best/easiest things I've done to the car
@Ronbros
I love the James bond console.....
Any info on the cross brace that goes across the engine... home made ? Is there enough clearance to the hood ? Do you run a hoodliner ?
Also, any info on the headlights ? It looks like you have single units on the outside, and "something" LEDs ? on the inside ? Weirdly enough I have been looking for small compact bi-xenons to try out something similar.....

The 94 and up cars came with the 2 piece center vent you have, so now you can redirect all of the cool air and freeze the driver and passenger if required. It's an easy 15 minute job to swap them over..... just pull the center wood trim part off then I think the vent pulls out..... or its 2 screws..... easy anyway

Unfortunately my HVAC is all screwed up. I get 98% of my air out the defroster ducts. My heat is only intermitant and the a/c sorta blows a little colder than ambient. My fan only works on "high" and when it starts up it screetches something fierce! There is also a sound like a vacuum leak from under the dash. Other than that it's great!

Today's project. My shifter whiskers are always shedding and look a little cheap to me even when they are good so I replaced them with a rubber guide. I think it's a little cleaner looking. The shift knob is an aftermarket one for a manual transmission. In order to make it fit without modifying the stalk I milled out a slot in the hole. I then drilled and tapped 2 set screws higher up on the ball. This locks it in place as well as keeps it located fore and aft. I will then use shrink tubing at the base of the ball to blend it in with the chrome stalk. I also had to add the shift pattern and "wood grained" the aluminum ring to match the rest of the wood.I will snap some pics when they are installed. BTW: I also am aware my shifter cover is in poor shape. I am one of the lucky one facing possible layoffs so everything I do now needs to be on a budget. The plus side of working with messed up parts is I can experiment on them and perfect the techniques and try different looks without fear!

Oddrods - some very elegant solutions to common problems. I particularly like the rubber guide replacing the shifter whiskers (is that what those brushes are really called?!). Any details on what you used, how you cut and fit them, etc. appreciated. Mine are pretty well worn and need to go.
Power-wise, I've been running a Black and Decker 100-watt power inverter ($8 at HomeDepot), it has a USB port and a 115-volt AC outlet. It doesn't sit in the shallow lighter receptacle as securely as I'd like, but I'll either install a deeper one or integrate something like you did.
