Default Recommend Clock to Replace Trip Computer

I am replacing the wood trim on the dashboard and want to eliminate the trip-computer. Are there any issues with the wiring if I remove the trip computer? What are some of the most popular 12v analog clock that people are installing?

Patrick,

the obvious choice is to just fit in the standard XJS clock along with the standard clock veneer panel. I can't speak for the pre-facelift version that you have. But when I went the other way with my facelift car, I removed the Jaguar quartz clock and the same wiring plug then plugged into the trip computer.

Cheers

Paul

Thank you all for the information. I think I would like to install a new 2W9F-15000 AD from the XJ 350. There are a lot of used clocks. Anyone know where I can purchase a new clock? I am having all of the wood replaced so I will need to let the manufacture what clock I have purchased to drill the holes.
