Do you have a picture?

Where is it located?

I have a lot of stuff in boxes from a couple of 'parting out" efforts

Hi. It's fitted next to the headlight logic pack on the red relay base left front. I believe all facelift cars have the base, but the diode was fitted to German and Finnish cars as standard, for headlight adjusting.

Just installing that would do nothing. There are motorized actuators involved that drive the headlight adjusting cables mounted where US cars have the manual adjusters, as well as a cockpit control to adjust them that would also need to be added. I don't believe it is a diode pack that fits that red base, but instead is a special motor drive circuit for the adjustment.

Yeah, i know....I have the motors, the switch is on the way and hopefully the red diode pack soon. Last year l got the Canadian DLR relay setup and it was a simple plug n play project.

I did the DLR. Found an NOS harness, bought three relays, and plugged it in.
I went to quad headlights on my 95, and got rid of the remote adjustment claptrap. It took me awhile to figure out what the red socket was even for as I couldn't find anything that showed the circuitry. Finally figured it out from the parts manual.

I'm sorry, but I'm not at home, and not sure when I will be to look it up. I looked it up in the factory parts manual, and found it on ebay after a few weeks of searching. The Ebay listing is long gone.

I can't help. All my parting out efforts have been on '85-'89 cars
