Default Sanden 508 / S7HD15

Hello folks,

i am trying to replace the a6 with a Sanden compressor on a 1985 xjs v12.

The front AC brackets align correctly with the ears but the pulley doesn’t align too well.

I vaguely recall that someone managed to drill the front mount holes to 7/16 and used an angle iron for the rear bracket.

Does anyone have pictures of this setup. Curious to see how the new hoses were fabricated with this setup.

Here is mine from 1995/

I dont remember spacers at the front, nor redrilling, but that was a shiiit load of beers ago mate.

The rear, simply dug around my scrap, imagination at FULL alert, and found that scrap, carved it to suit, (angle grinder), trial and error obviously.

I made 4, for the 3 others, sounded right at the time.

NOT rocket science, but you WILL need your sense of imagination.

Hoses the same, NO fuel cooler rubbish of course, and simply layed them out, NOPE, dont like that, try another way, until I was satisfied.

Richard Dowling sent me these drawings of aluminum Sanden mounts sometime back. I got the aluminum from an industrial supply firm in the US, McMaster-Carr. I fabricated them with only a jig saw with metal cutting blades, a drill press, and files. Everything lined up fine. I used a Sanden clone from ebay, which works fine. I changed to a parallel flow condensor from a 4.0 XJS, modifying the mounts as required. Since that condensor has metric hose fittings on the inlet, I bought fittings and fabbed up hoses. Works great.
I hope Richard doesn't mind me posting these. They are in three formats, all showing the same thing, in a Zip file. I've had to link to my Google drive as I can't seem to be able to directly upload from my phone.

No, I do not mind.
Your links seem to show just a Google drive doc list or something.
Never fear, the real McCoy is attached. The pdf file is the only format out of the three the forum allows.
