Hey guys,
I have the original Clarion cassette radio in my car. Looking to upgrade speakers, which would be compatible? What is the max output? I purchased these:

But they do not work. Any ideas?

Ok so I have gathered that the one original speaker that is working, that wiring to that speaker is good because it works with my new speaker to. The 3 other speakers do not work old or new speakers. What should I check next????

Please help I would love some music!

 

The odds of three old speakers and three new speakers being faulty are so low that I think we can rule that out. The speakers must be OK and the problem must be elsewhere.
Does the original Clarion head unit have a balance control and a fader control? If you play around with these, can you get sound from all four speakers?
If not, I'd suggest taking the head unit out so that you can test the wiring between it and the speakers. That way you could prove whether you have a wiring problem or whether you need a new head unit.
