Default Throttle body set up specs?

Anyone have the FSM procedure to set throttle bodies?

I want to start from scratch, make sure everything is set correctly.

not just the throttle plate, the entire mechanism. From cable to butterflies and everything in between.

thanks

I don't know what the manual says but I've attached a good write-up from Grant...which is similar to my method

Cheers

There is a good video on YouTube from 'livng with a classic' who is a Canadian guy who has many of these cars. This goes through the whole process. Also check the rubber grommet/bushes at the bell crank to spindle connection are in good shape. If not I think he has a link to someone in eastern Europe who has remaufactured these in a much better(Teflon?) material.

Adam, Living with a Classic, is Swedish. It’s still the frozen north, but not quite the same as Canada.

I stand corrected. I was going on his accent and the snow!
The bushes I mentioned are Teflon PTFE, are from an enthusiast in Lithuania and are available on Ebay.

Had I known about the upgrade items from jag-improver when I was needing throttle spindle bushings, I would have sprung for them.

What has been working for me are oiled sintered bronze flange bushings, part number EF050806. They're cheap and available stateside. The only downside is that the bushing's OD is 1/2" and the hole in the bracket is a tiny bit smaller. I elected to sand down the bushing rather than drill out the bracket, but I suppose either way can result in a nice press fit.
