OK, trans warning light in my 93 4.0 comes on last week. Check of fluid level shows 1/2 qt low. Top it off and take test drive. Everything goes as expected. Today, light comes on while driving, pull over and check fluid level again. Level is fine. Car bumps on both up and down shifts for a mile. Stopped car for about 15mins. Restart car, warning light off. Less than a quarter mile light is back on and shifting is bump on up and down shifts again. Back to house and check owner's manual. Page showing trans light says "Automatic Transmission not applicable". WTF!
