Default TWR project car

1990 TWR XJS Black / tan interior with fully rebuilt engine and trans out of the car ready for assembly. Over $1000 in engine prep with new sleeves, rod and main bearings, new chains and heads prepped and skimmed.

Dirt cheep.

Why do I not have a multi-bay shop? I need to stop browsing.

Yeah I saw that one and it caught my attention.

Cheap initially but needs a complete cosmetic restoration too. So probably not cheap in the long run.

Interesting car, and a cool project if you have the shop capabilities and resources.

My plan is to get it home for now. We all know how these cars are. But for the price, well, I've spent a lot more on less. Will keep you posted.

Both are very likely!

Best of luck with it!

I'm pretty sure I have some sort of "rescue" mentality. I own far more cars than I have time and money for it would seem, yet I can't seem to pass what at first seems a great car for a great price. Seems life is too short for this, yet it is one of things that seems to bring me endless satisfaction. A life of endless hurdles, lol.

A thread would be interesting to watch, especially if you like watching paint dry, lol. On top of having a hard time posting pics, I have so many projects going at once, that I get frustrated at how long each are taking. My supercharged V12 hasn't been touched in months, only waiting on me.....the 95 convertible I recently purchased is truly irresistible to enjoy on the pretty days. My Cobra convertible was turned over to a local body shop only to keep it for 4-5 months with nothing but promises. My 454SS Pickup for a sharp tow truck parts gitter' as we call them in the south, is in the middle of a nice engine build. Lost keys to a cool little convertible I picked up earlier in the year, and am now being told a new steering column is my best answer. Aghhhhh!! I am a very sick man! On then on top of it all, I also take delivery tomorrow of a black 1988 XJS-C. Pretty low miles, but know it will need belts, hoses, fuel lines replaced, fuel system flushed, on and on and on.... I'm telling yall', I am very sick man.

If it helps you out, I can take any of those that are in your way. I'm just a generous kind of a guy. Always willing to help someone in need.

Seriously, I feel you. And I won't take any of those that are in your way. I have too many gems that need polishing already.

if I can get Jessie sorted there's my 83 SIII 6 with a broken valve lined up and I really want to start a full resto on my 70 P 1800 E.

I'm also a sick man. We should start a "Hello! I'm _____ and I'm an automotive addict" thread so we can seek help! Anyways, between my wife and I we have 5 cars and 1 truck all which run, drive, tagged and insured. However, they all need something done which takes loads of time. The truck I've done a bunch of work on. The last 2 cars we acquired within the last 2 years required major engine surgery. Both required engine/trans out jobs. Anyways, I'm glad I'm not the only sick man on here.

Addicted2boost, you have my attention with that name. One of my projects is WELL under way, yet has stalled now, is supercharging a 6.0 V12. Why don't you start that thread?
