Hi C&P

As has been already said, just send the seller a message to say that its the wrong one for your Car

And they will almost always be ok with that

Especially if it says returns accepted

All you are really going to need is the Hook for a Full Size Wheel as you should be able to use the Nut off your Broken One

But just to be sure give Jaguar Classic Parts a ring and ask them if both types have the same Thread Size

Maybe one has got a Steel Nut, like on your Broken one

While the other type might have the plastic Hand Wheel

In which case you would only be in for £23-76 providing that delivery is included?

Your pic shows the correct part for the normal spare but the end is broken off. You need the part CCC 5673 with your part (nut) CBC 5627 for the full size spare. Its available from Jag new for around $35.00

Keep the link to Jaguar classic parts handy. It will help you out nearly everyday .....
I went to the link everydayXJ.com. I saw the correct one for $7.00. Can't beat that with a stick! I'll need other items too like both visor clips and a temp knob. I never knew about that site but I have it as a Favorite right now.

Update on the Ebay item: I did send the seller a note and see that he canceled it ...pheww!

Wouldn't we all like to know!! I will share when I finally get it open. Kind of a Pandora's box!
It's secured/screwed to the trunk floor so I cannot even remove it from the trunk to bring it anywhere to try to open.
