This 479" motor with AL heads, AL intake and long tube headers weighs exactly 572 lbs with mini- starter, but not including alternator or AC compressor . A Sanden AC comp vs the GM comp saves estimated 25 lbs, the aluminum replacement radiator with integral trans cooler saves around 25 lbs, as an estimate vs the Jag copper rad and steel trans cooler.
The front of the car with the Chev motor sat 1" higher than with the V12 with the same front springs.

Cold air intake from the cowl lots of room to work on it
Of sorry Greg, that is a hydraulic table. 1.1 metres x .7 m with a lift to about 1.5m & a 500Kg weight limit. 4 castors, the two at the front steerable with brakes. Cast about €485. It's good but I found once there was a weight on the table you lost the ability to lower the table "slowly". Also the release handle became hard to squeeze. But it worked quite fine. I lifted the engine & box off it with the engine lift and plonked it on the floor. Not an ideal height to work on but will do until I separate the box on the weekend, then I shall put it back on the table.
