Looking into purchasing this model. Any ideas where I should look? Thanks guys. Also, what are your opinions about this model? I don't know much about them. I just love this car.

Ebay, Auto Trader, Craigslist, JCNA web page (Jaguar Clubs of North America).

Plenty to choose from so do lots of shopping. There's a buyers guide in on of the sticky threads at the top of this section. I suggest starting there.

Cheers

I have looked at this model as well. They come (always?) with a rear spoiler which ruins the lines of the car. Also, I did not hear anything good about the 12 cylinder engine. I therefore bought the 6 cyl.

Yea, I think I made my mind on getting a 6 cylinder. I would love the 12 cyl but I think that it is more for someone who has knowledge on how to work on one. Thanks...

There were very few 6L V-12s built in '95 and I think 3 (?) in '96. The 5.3 is a nice motor however, IMHO, the inline 6 is better suited to the XJS. The XJS handles better, has fewer front end problems and is easier to live with. I guess my point is not to become fixated on a 6.0. If you see a nice AJ16 engined car give it serious consideration.

I see several listed locally on Craig's List and have been using Craigspal's free Craigslist reader to search nationally. This one just came up in Michigan.
