Default White front indicators

What do you guys think about these white indicators? I´m quite happy with the "fresher" looks of my car.

Those look great, I like them. You're right, it definitely freshens up the look of the front a bit. Did you make them yourself, or purchase them somewhere?

Definitely a better look.
So, where did you get them?

White markers are probably available for any vehicle on earth, except one: The XJS:

So I had to cut the markers open with an electric-saw, organized me a mold maker to craft white copies of the transparent parts and glued the result back together with the marker-basis.

S**t-load of work, but worth it (in my opinion)

Regards

Hendrik

Those look great. I guess I now have one more thing to do after I paint my car matte black this winter.

Looks great! I had a late 90s 750iL with amber turn signals. Bought a kit off eBay with clear turn signals and rear lights. Really freshened up the look.

Here's a business opportunity for you - scan the piece you made, 3D print them, and make a little cash!

If you want to do it right, there isn't always an easy way to do it. Nice work, I wondered if you had molds made for it.

So, theoretically, if you have a mold, more parts could be made from it in the future for other XJS owners? If I had a facelift I would be jumping all over this!

I think they look great too, got the old thinking cap on about all the work you had to do, to achieve this look !.
My IDEA !.
Could it be possible to source out cars in the ( breakers, scrapyards ).
Looking at various interior light covers to fit, only an idea !

Well, this is not a commercial project for me. But there are indeed molds existing. So there is the possibility to produce some more sets.

But its not a "plug and play"-solution. You have to cut the original parts open with a tool like this: PROXXON - MIC
and glue everything back together with black flexible glue. As well you have to paint the bulps orange. I could deliver just the transparent part, everything else is diy. And its not really cheap. And its just for the full facelift version.

If anyone is still interested, please send me a PM asap. The mold maker is actually producing a spare set for me, so I would just order some more.
