XJS V6 problems

Default XJS V6 problems
I have a 1996 xjs v6 and when I turn it on it accelerates to 3000 revolutions, so in my country there is no Jaguar representative, so I will check any recommendations they can give me myself. What do you think it could be?

Your 1996 XJS NEVER came in a V6 only the straight 6.
What country are you in?
Is there a local Jaguar Club?
They should have lots of answers for you.

Start by checking if the throttle butterfly is closing properly.
