Default I bought a 2007 XKR with over 110k miles almost 6 months ago

at a bargain basement price. So far the only thing I have had to repair is the blower motor for the A/C. That's it!!!!! There is hardly anything temperamental or capricious about this GT at all.

The car has over 110k miles and the interior is damn near spotless. I just had the headlights buffed to counter the oxidation that inevitably occurs. The car is rock solid and I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. I came in this process looking to spend about 45k and I ended up spending less than 30k. I get more looks in this car than anything on the road. I am a young spry single 30 year old so naturally this car fits the bachelor lifestyle. This is the very first car I have owned that wasn't handed down to me from my parents and boy was it a doozy. I look forward to keeping this car for four years, so I can opportunistically take advantage of the new model 2014s being 1 year old.

FYI Progressive was butt raping so I went with Erie Insurance. Anybody looking reinsure or insure for the first time I highly recommend them.

Looks great! I wouldn't be too concerned about the high mileage since that means lots of highway driving in 6th gear with the engine loafing along, which is far less stressful on the drivetrain than super low mileage that is stop-and-go city driving. Hopefully, you have all the service records from the previous owner(s) (or can get them from your local Jag dealer) to make sure that all the critical service has already been done and, if not, to do it.

Major service @100K miles: replace spark plugs and accessory drive belt. Also replace the brake fluid if it has never been done.

My only concern is that if you're in DC, that's not a great city for a nice car like yours: DC = Ding Collector! But if you're in Texas (per your tag), there's lots of room to enjoy the new ride and you won't need to be as careful where you park!

I have proof of all the services and service intervals via electronic database from the original owner's dealership. I walk to work and have an old volkswagon gti which is why I only have 3,000 miles on it in 6 months. I just recently replaced pads and rotors with slotted rotors from e-line on ebay, so far so good. I am about to put 2400 watts worth of car stereo in it for my personal xmas gift. I will keep you all updated. I have been drinking a little man-gria(for my adam carolla fans) so pardon my typos.

One step ahead of you. Even though I will probably be married when I get my next car I was thinking something used like this around 2015.

2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Base, $159,777 - Cars.com

or 2014 XKRS whatever that will look like
