2007-2011 X150 Headlight question
Recently got water in my passenger side headlight and the dealer wants over $2k for the new part. Looking at used parts and was wondering whether the headlights from a 2010 would fit on my 2007 model. I've contacted several sellers on eBay but have received conflicting responses...
My car is a 2007 4.2 NA with the adaptive headlights.
Thanks in advance!

Looks like all XK/XKR X150 cars, up to VIN ending in B38316 use the same headlamp assembly C2P21142 (for the right hand side with adaptive lamps).
EDIT: Seems Gaudin lists the same part number for both before and after that VIN, need more research, sorry!

Thanks for the replies!
Since the ballast got flooded and needs to be replaced anyway (along with the HID bulb possibly) I figured it would be safer to buy a sealed functional unit and then sell my damaged unit for repair.
My VIN is within that range, and from what I can tell the lights look exactly the same...I think I'll buy the 2010 lights and see if they work.
