Default 2007 - XK - Air Compressor Tick or Antennea?

Guys't looked at the source yet but th
Just bought an XK - really nice shape but a few things to work on. When I shut the car off - I hear a tick/tick...from the rear. I haven't looked what the the source of it is yet, I was thinking this may be an air suspoension and this is a compressor tick or I dont know yet. Ticks for about 15 secs or so and stops. Maybe on startup too - but I have only noticed it when I turn the car off. Any help would be appreciated.
Other issues that I see some video's on are stuck ASL button and missing glove box button to open.

Sorry about the messed up sentence at the beginning. I'll do a better job of proof reading on the next one.

Hi M1. Welcome to the forum. The XK doesn't have air suspension, but your 07 does have a telescoping aerial antenna. Quickest way to determine if it is the antennae is with the radio on, shut off the car and get out quickly. The antenna will collapse about 5 seconds or so after you turn off the car. As you watch it, listen for your noise and see if they coincide.

It will be this weekend before I can check it out but I’ll let you know.

OK let us know. The only other thing I can think of is your navigation disk is cycling but that's not so much of a tick tick as a whirring noise.

Hi - just wanted to follow-up on my ticking noise. This is coming form the power antenna. There is a gear inside it as I understand if from a used parts dealer that is causing this. I just took the fuse out for now and will leave it down. FM is supposed to work well with it down, just a loss of AM mostly. I'll get around to fixing / replacing this at some point. Thanks for the help!
