Brakewarehouse shows listing for Power Stop Z16 Ceramic pads for XK's (not XKR's):

Front 16-1241 Rear 16-1095

Interestingly, not many catalogs even show XK's, always XKR's.
At least 3 outfits show rear's only: Akebono, EBC and Centric (all 1095's); why only rears?
Wrote to Centric asking why no 105.12410 front Ceramic pad; no answer.........all part no's look very familar (front's 1241, rears 1095).
A few catalogs even show same no's for XJR's and S type's, if they show XJ's or S types at all!

Catalog's are a mess and incomplete including manufacturers................

Chazaroo, hope this helps; are you going to try them first! I am not ready yet for pads; only 30K on Certified vehicle I just bought from Nashville, but live in Seattle...........................

Thanks. I'll check them out. Probably won't do it right away,as I only have 18K on the odometer. As for the catalogs, you're right. I have no idea why so many are apparently unaware of the existence of XKs. Thanks again for the info. When I do switch, I'll post results. Think I'll also check return policy just in case.

 

I'm not so sure about the Powerstops. If you check out their web site they only show the XKR as a possible for the XK. No base XK to be found. You're right about the catalogs being a mess, there is no consistency between any of them, at least when it comes to the XK.

These are correct part no,s for XK's. XKR's are different. At least two outfits claim to stock them; Brakewarehouse and Autosheperd................we will see after someone orders them.................Pad manufacturers refuse to deal with their customers, strange, just like Jaguar!!!
