Anyone know an aftermarket US source for the small "jaguar" badge on the passenger side of my 2007 XK? Dealer will only provide the full trim assembly for over $1000.00

This is the driver side unit - need passenger side

I just noticed this Marketplace ad parting out his 2008 XK. Seller was very active on this Forum until his XK was in an accident and totaled.

Guys, can these be removed and replaced or do they break when removing? I just got a respray estimate and the body shop included replacement of these badges.

 

Looks like from this pic of the back, it pops out from the "R" side and the slides back and out... I'm sure they are fragile...

1000$ for the complete assembly? An independent parts dealer in Germany sells both sides for 279€ in chrome version, what should be about 320$ plus shipping.
