If I can't use those features, I won't get one of these things.
heated windshield I think? I haven't had any codes so I don't know if touching the screen will delete them. OEM TPMS isn't part of the head unit. It's a separate add on but don't know if the OEM TPMS is disabled. If I get a wild hair I might test it for you but right now it's 37 degrees out . If you can think of some other simple code I code trigger without much effort I can try it out.

Anyone has a clear picture of the "Can bus decoder", or knows exactly what text is written on it?
Referring to this thread..

Guys, managed to install a new screen. Everything works, except radio... Which is not surprising, because I don't have a free cable in OEM setup to connect a radio to. Where/How did you connect a radio antenna? I have a part from a new unit, but don't know where to connect it...

PS. Cooling seats - don't work I'm afraid (only heating). Dashboard errors "clearing" - have not found a place to erase them.

Item 2 pictured in post 203. you need a small cable. You want the Fakra Z type (blue) as it's universal fit. RCA on the unit is female.
Amazon Amazon

regarding seat cooling, make sure you have the correct vehicle and model year in vehicle settings. Also try 2009 XF or later since you have a 2010. The only thing those settings change are the climate I think.

do they even show up on the touch screen or the gauge cluster only?

I have it as in this picture, but don't know what to connect to it... I don't see any FAKRA connector available from an OEM device. Help with that one would be highly appreciated.

Original setup was and I guess one of these green or brown connectors would be for a radio...

You mean CCF setting or a setting inside a tablet? If the second option - how to get there?

On a gauge cluster only. I have one now (tpms broke into two pieces inside a wheel and tpms is raising a flag - not communication with a wheel). On an OEM screen I used to have a red triangle which allowed hiding these errors from an instrument cluster.

the antenna would have been plugged into your IAM aka CD player.

settings inside the tablet not ccf - go to setting select the second option on the bottom of the screen. enter code 3368.

ok thanks for the info on the warning messages.

Was it plugged directly to an OEM player?

3. Simple plug and play for backup camera (especially for 2012-2015)?

4. Is the screen visible wearing polarized sun glasses? Someone had mentioned the screen was not properly engineered to be viewable wearing polarized glasses.

2,, Yes like u wrote,, windchield its lost,, but never used it anyway.
3 , Huh? backupcamera that comes with the package works perfekt.

very similar to mine (find below). But cannot find a fakra radio cable in a harness... now I'm not sure if I was unplugging it from an OEM setup too. But I'm rather sure that I didn't...

Damn either I'm blind or I really don't have a radio antenna cable nearby... Made a huge disassembling to find it and so far not even close... Anyone with MY10 with an experience about radio antenna?! Sean W - counting very much on your suggestions.

I will plug OEM player tomorrow to check if it plays radio without a fakra plugged in to determine whether it was there and disappeared (as radio worked for me) or I need to provide an aftermarket antenna to a screen (or somehow provide AM/FM signal from an OEM antenna to a screen).

I wish I could help. I have an 07. I looked at the wiring diagram for the 2010 onward and it shows the same connection so I.m thoroughly confused. You might want to start a separate thread as many guys are probably tired of this thread and don't look to it anymore. Simply ask where the antenna connects at the center console. I'm certain others know.

My installer has reached an impasse. We know that the unit I bought from Guangzhou Electronic Technology Co., Ltd works when powered up and that the Jaguar system works properly. However, we cannot get the two systems to interface. My XKR, a 2013 vert has an upgraded Bowers & Wilkins system. The installer has tried everything he can with no positive results. I am including several photographs of various wiring which seem to have nowhere to go. He has scoured this thread and made several other searches with no positive results. Please ignore the first photo. It is redundant.

label on Jaguar radio

These don't seem to match up with the built in wiring loom

Aftermarket wires remain loose. Light gray and blue OEM sockets are not needed too. Brown is a radio I believe (use an aftermarket connector fakra to din) - lucky you (I don't have it in my car - at least visible). But I might be wrong with a brown one as I haven't seen a proper radio cable (but it's a fakra cable for sure). If it's from a top of a OEM radio it might be not needed too.

I guess you are very close!

ps. I did it in 2h having all the posts (except rear camera, which I left for a later stage - retrofitting OEM one). Critical thing is to cut a white plastic socket (aftermarket) connected to a hazard lights - to fit it with a black OEM one. The rest is plug and play with some unused sockets/cables.
