Did you ever get an answer to this? I'm in the same position. I've ordered the ACM to install but I'd also like to have the factory satellite radio interface. I had a portable Sirius unit in my XK8 but I'd like to avoid it if possible on the XK.
My 2008 xk vert came with the satellite option - Sirious. If your car is not a U.S. version maybe the satellite option wasn't installed. I have never heard of a U.S. car without the satellite option installed along with a 90 day free trial. If it is there, it is pretty easy to find. Just go to the audio screen and see if satellite is listed there. If it is, click on the button and subscription information will pop up.
My car came without the option installed, but the connectors are there and ready. Located in the trunk above the NAV DVD player. Looks simple to install if you have your hands on an OEM unit....
I was a bit surprised to see there was no Sirius in the 07 XK I just got. It kills me that my mom has Sirius in her 07 XK and doesn't use it! I'll have to price out some components at the dealer and see exactly what it might cost to add it to the car. I was really hoping someone on the forum had done it already.
Please see my post:

for complete details on installing the factory Sirius satellite radio. It does not have to break the bank if you can find the components at a breaker yard and if you can get a dealer to program for free or at least cheaply.
