Default 2010 XKR convertible Cold Air Intake

Hey guys, my dad recently purchased himself a 2010 jag xkr convertible. When you get on the gas you can’t really hear the supercharger... i was wondering if anyone’s got any good suggestions for a cold air intake? I haven’t found much info online reguarding a 2010 xkr. Thanks!

There's reason why you won't find much info on cold air intakes for the XKR. Unless you're going to track your car, the factory intake is just about as good as it gets.

Forum member jahummer tracks his car and custom built his cold air intake:

If you want to hear the supercharger more, simply remove the Engine Appearance Cover. The foam lining inside that cover muffles the sound somewhat. For more exhaust noise, drive around in Dynamic Mode and use the paddle shifters. Iif you want the noise without the hassle of manual gear changes or the firmer ride of Dynamic Mode, pull Fuse 19 to keep the active exhaust valves open. If that's still not rowdy enough, remove the front resonators and replace them with an X-pipe.

Joe -
Welcome to the Forum. Read this - it's important.

Yoor father should join this Forum. You're welcome to stay even though you don't own an X150. Note that it's helpful if your Public Profile includes your state and city, and details about your car. A signature block is also helpful so others know the year and model X150 and location.
