Question 2013 XK service records and maintenance advice.....

Just picked up my 2013 XK, this past November, Today I went to the jaguar dealer and had them pull the service records. To my surprise many things had been changed under warranty. The following things were done/replaced:
Rear heater manifold
Fuel pump supply pipe connecter line
Water Pump and connecting tube
EVAP cannister was also replaced

I'm at about 128k miles now. My questions is, what else is known to go bad on these cars? Should the trans fluid be changed at this mileage? Or just leave it alone?
Dealer said it's lifetime, but I don't buy that?

Trans fluid is overdue and Search would be worth using.

When were the coolant parts replaced? It's not only miles but time that affect the plastics.. It's good that they were changed, but it's a good idea to find out when. Recently (last few years) would be ideal. Good luck.

If you search around, you will find arguments about how "common" (or not) timing chain issues are. Either way, it's worth checking them to be safe. Also, the suspension boots eventually deteriorate and lose their grease. For example, the upper control arms on the front suspension. The original OEM water pumps are a known weakness. You stated that yours has been replaced. But as @bocatrip stated, all replacements depend on how long ago they happened, and not just how many miles have passed.

Welcome to the XK/XKR family!

Rear heater manifold was 2022
Heater cooling pipe 2022
Fuel pump connector was 2019
Water pump was 2019
Evap cannister was 2019
Trans tcm reprogram was 2017

BTW how should I handle the trans fluid situation? I have always used a bottle or two of the lucas trans fix in my American cars with outstanding results. Is that safe to use in a euro ZF trans like this?

No trouble getting the records from the Dealer? Anything special to motivate then (like an, ahem, envelope)?

I would suggest staying with only ZF Lifeguard fluid 6 unless you’re trying to solve a problem.

There are others that have put in other fluids but the safest is to stay with what ZF recommended for the transmission.

No real trouble, the man was extra nice and he changed the battery in one of my xk keys also for free. Since he was nice I tipped him 10 bucks. It's hit or miss, on the other hand, I had to bribe the dodge dealer with a 15 buck tip for her lunch to get my challenger rt service records, as she was trying to blow me off.

Change the ZF transmission pan with its inbuilt filter as well as lifeguard 6 fluid. I just done mine at 85k with a ZF service kit that included 7 litres of fluid.
At the same time it's convenient to change the diff oil, and clean the magnetic drain plug, if that's never been done.

Its interesting how we all have different views about these things. I do separate the conversation of "Maintenance" from "Repair".

For example, replacements of water pumps and generators constitute "repair" to me.
ALL fluids, filters, pcv valve, hoses, belts, plugs are interpreted as maintenance.

At 128k mi., your maintenance manual will show, its time to deal with everything on the maintenance list.
During the expensive maintenance schedule, a deep inspection at the suspension, timing chains, brakes, ... should be done.
