Hey all,
It's been a while since I started this thread, but the ongoing pandemic has certainly affected all of our lives and slowed lots of things down. Anyway, I was finally able to get my Jag back to the dealer up in PA a couple of weeks ago to get the CEL/code P0456 looked at. I just got it back on Saturday.

The culprit: leaking purge valve. They replaced it and now no more code or check engine light.

I am very impressed with the car dealer. While they had my Jag, they fixed this issue, took out several door dings on both sides of the car, fixed the broken damper on the glove compartment and did an oil change it was due for...all for no charge. They've definitely earned a repeat customer, even though it's a 2 hour drive to get up to them.

Thanks for closing out the post. This always helps the next person. If you have a chance, can you look at your invoice and list the part number for the purge valve? That will help others as well.
Glad it got sorted out for you.

Sean,
No problem. For everyone, here's the part that was replaced:

Purge Control Valve - Jaguar part # AJ811695

Looks like it would cost $140-150 if you had to buy it.
