Thats what it does when the rear-end is about to step out, it will cut throttle completely.
It didn't for me on Christmas Day, parked in a supermarket car park (which was empty) to go for a meal in a pub next door) when coming back decided to floor it 0-50 in said car park, the back end stepped out so much I banged my head on the drivers door window, any harder and I'd have knocked myself out!

And no, no alcohol was consumed

Glad I've not got ACC That said was 13c on Xmas day and currently 12c here in SW England...whatever happened to Winters??
