Default Am I in the minority?

Reading many posts about our cars, i see 2 things that always seem to stand out to me, that is wheel size and fuse 19...

I'm curious to know if there are any others out there that like me that prefer fuse 19 installed and have also traded a 20" wheel for a 19" wheel.

Fuse 19 is installed to help me stay incognito. I'm keeping my 20" Sentas, though.

As I have the N/A engine, Fuse 19 doesn't apply but I'm with you on a preference for 19" rims. After two XK8's and now on my second XK on 20" Kalimnos, I've had the opportunity to use 18", 19" and 20". For me the 19" is definitely the best compromise for comfort and damage resistance from potholes. The 19" Carelia on my last 2007 XK were much better.

I’m also in the 19” Rim camp. 20’s and my local roads are a disaster.

I have 20" Sentas and 20 mm spacers on back , I just avoid pot holes.

I still have fuse 19 installed but then I have a 5 litre and drive it in Dynamic mode 99% of the time which opens the valves anyway

Both my old 07 XKR and current 10 XKR have 20" wheels and I don't find the ride a problem. The 5 litre ride can be softened a little by switching out of dynamic mode if I have a passenger of more delicate disposition.

Fuse 19 firmly in. I prefer to draw less attention to my driving. Dynamic mode is there for fun.

Mine has the 20" Nevis wheels which I like too much to change but I would expect that the 19" wheels on an XKR would be dynamically better. I guess you have felt the weight of these 20"ers! On German roads out of towns, the ride is OK. It only feels a little stiff at low speeds in towns where the roads are poorly patched. It is generally a comfortable car.

20’s for the summer tires.
19’s for the all seasons,
18’s for the winters.

Fuse 19 intact.
Stock 19" Jupiters.
Fun-factor smile permanently plastered on my face from Start to Stop.
That's all, folks!

XK is too stiff sprung for 20's IMO. Visually, the 19's look the best considering the body and brakes.

Keeping the 20s because I like visiting the wheel repair ship, and fuse 19 is back in for good as I didn't like the noisy cabin.

I don't have fuse 19 to pull so I installed cutouts!
We are all very different cause my car is lowered and have 20" Senta's and I don't feel the ride is harsch at all.

I'm keeping my 20" Sentas as well. I have had to replace three of them due to potholes, but love the look!
